big clothing funk - winter, having to be so covered up, and being bored with the clothes in my closet kind of created the perfect storm for clothing funk. You guys had so many great suggestions about how to get out of it, and one of the biggest suggestions was to do a 30x30. I've really enjoyed watching all of you do 30x30s because you guys are all so creative and really know how to stretch your clothing items. The reason I resisted from participating is because I'm already quite limited in what I can wear. Because I don't own many dresses/skirts (because I can only wear them with boots) and because my shoe choices are already quite slim, I didn't feel I could get as much out of the challenge as some of you other ladies.
Yesterday I saw AJ's post about doing a new challenge started by Sarah's Real Life called Take One, Pass it On. It's pretty self explanatory - wear an outfit one day, and the next day you take one piece from the previous day (jewelry and shoes included!) and wear it again. I feel this gives me a bit more flexibility and options than a 30x30 would because it works better with my work clothing restrictions. It also involves less planning which is always a plus in my book!
Looking for a way to mix it up in February? I urge you to give it a try - some ladies are also only doing it for a week so maybe a bit of mid February excitement if you're looking for it!
